Our Academy programme is based upon three pillars of development which are used to shape and inform the roster of masterclasses, events, workshops, and forums.
Each workshop, masterclass or forum is assigned to a specific pillar, developed to ensure that attendees at all levels and across all functions are given the opportunity to gather a holistic range of knowledge and skills that will support career progression.
The Pillars
Balanced
Helping individuals connect holistically and harmoniously with their self and individuality in both their professional and personal life.
Effective
Helping individuals see how committing to enhancing and evolving both the organisation they work for and the wider industry ecosystem serves the good of the industry and offers benefits to all.
Empowered
Helping individuals to take ownership of their own career development and professional path.

It's also a good opportunity for you to ask any questions and to share your experiences with a small group of other mentees.
We look forward to seeing you there.

This session will demonstrate how to craft your own authentic style, develop trust and a connection with your audience, and ensure an impactful delivery and pitch.
The fun and interactive workshop covers:
Vocal Confidence – finding your voice and body posture and breathing techniques.
Reading the room - who are you selling to and awareness of your environment.

Neurodiversity Lunch and Learn Online Workshop
Building better corporate cultures starts with people—prioritising their well-being, needs, and contributions. When we recognise and embrace cognitive differences, we unlock new ways of thinking, processing information, and solving problems, leading to more innovative, productive, and positive workplaces.
While the conversation around neurodiversity has gained momentum in recent years, there is still much to learn about how our unique cognitive profiles shape our experiences—and how we can harness these differences to drive success – both in work and our day to day lives.
Our first session in our two-part neurodiversity series welcomes Daniel Aherne, Author and Founder of Adjust Services, for an engaging workshop designed to expand our understanding of neurodiversity. This session will explore:
A clear and practical understanding of the different neurodiversity types
Neurodiversity in the workplace and beyond
The small changes that can make a significant difference in our approach to neurodiversity
This Neurodiversity Lunch and Learn session is a great way to get the Neurodiversity conversation started in your workplace. This 1-hour bite-size awareness session gives an introductory understanding of neurodiversity and is beneficial for HR professionals, recruitment teams, learning and development teams, managers and all colleagues after a deeper understanding of neurodiversity.
About Daniel Aherne
Daniel, author of The Pocket Guide to Neurodiversity, founded Adjust in 2016 to raise awareness of Neurodiversity in the workplace.
Daniel has over 20 years’ experience of neurodiversity and working with employers as a trainer and speaker.
Daniel’s passion for Neurodiversity started in 2000 by volunteering with an Autistic boy on a playscheme. This led to him working at the National Autistic Society in the employment team, where he managed the Employment Training. In this role he noticed that whilst every autistic person was different, every workplace was very similar in terms of the barriers that autistic people faced. Leading him to focus primarily on workplaces and helping them become more inclusive.
Daniel is available to deliver his new “Fireside Chat” with a focus on his book ´A pocket guide to Neurodiversity ´and his inspiring ADHD journey. Visit Adjustservices.co.uk for more details.

While there are many definitions of leadership, my personal favourite is the one described by Marcus Buckingham and Ashley Goodall in their book Nine Lies About Work, “there is only one thing that will make you a leader. Followers.” This outcome-oriented definition shifts the focus from the so-called leader to the impact and influence they are having on others.
Christine Brown-Quinn, The Female Capitalist® welcomes Leila Pilgrim, Legal Advisor and Non-Executive Director, to the Career Masterclass Series to see how she has learned to be a leader, not by designation, but rather by her followership.
Join the webinar, “Leadership Learnings - How to Become the Person Others Want to Follow” on Wednesday, the 20th of November 2024 to get the inside scoop on how to attain this impactful and sustainable variety of leadership.
