Erich Gerth

Erich is Chief Executive Officer for RBC BlueBay Asset Management and responsible for leading RBC’s asset management business outside of North America. He serves as Executive Director for the RBC GAM-UK Ltd Board, is a board member for RBC BlueBay Asset Management, and is a member of the RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) and RBC European Executive Committees. He joined the firm in 2012 as Global Head of Business Development and was promoted to CEO of BlueBay Asset Management in 2017, prior to BlueBay's merge with RBC Global Asset Management in 2023. 

Before joining the firm, Erich was Chief Executive of APAC based in Singapore, Head of Global Business Development and a member of the Executive Committee of London-based Aviva Investors. 

Erich began his career in the investment industry in 1986 and has over 20 years managing global teams, working across institutional and wholesale markets in both traditional and alternative asset classes.
